Wrapped up a few cyberpunk cars for Infinity last night. They’re fairly basic and may warrant revisiting down the line. I’ve plotted out how I intend to paint the cityscape around them and there’s a non-zero chance they’ll fall behind on style points.

Either way, I am happy with them for now. They look good and will provide excellent scatter terrain for both streets and alleys. I hope to produce a board that feels properly alive for a cyberpunk cityscape, so cars were an obvious necessity.

I still have large utility trucks to paint which will allow me to fully block off lanes of fire. These cars are more meant to give methods of gaining cover while crossing a street. Well placed smoke and an abandoned vehicle should allow for reasonable freedom of movement.

It’s nice to get back into terrain after a slow month of labor intensive infantry painting. I’m admittedly not done with Infinity models–I have around 4 more models to paint for my current choice of sectorial, and whenever I branch into vanilla Haqqislam, my options will expand and so will my roster.

The sidestep into terrain is a welcome change of pace. Hopefully, I’ll have a lot more to show by the end of this weekend.
