InCountry is a moderns skirmish to platoon scale ruleset. It has several variants to cover the differing sizes but two main branches: Core and Recon.

Core is their “narrative” ruleset which is more of a toolkit of rules to do larger battles. You can bring vehicles to whole platoons, and you can also scale it to skirmish scale with more options.

Recon is the tournament ruleset for focused battles between 8-12 models per side with everyone working off the same limited unit profiles.

I mostly bought it for the minis, though.

I bought some of the earlier kits which are full resin. They came as one piece and are very well detailed. I’m pleased despite my distaste for resin as a material.

Cleanup was minimal and quick. They paint up quite nice, but they’re truescale, which means their faces can be a bit harder to paint than traditional heroic scale miniatures. Their poses are dynamic and I’m overall pleased enough to buy more.

I intend to grab at least the full starter set at NOVA Open next weekend. It should be all metal, and I would love to have their miniatures in metal instead of resin. If you happen to buy off their site, models listed as metal in their description are metal, but models with no material listed are resin.

If you just want high quality modern miniatures, consider this a recommendation. They have some fair diversity and seem intent on expanding the line. Hopefully, I’ll have more to come on this general project. For now, here’s my Army Rangers and Western Contractors which will see tournament time next Saturday.
