Finally, I actually paint some super tiny men.
These are from Baccus, and yes, they’re excellent. They’re also surprisingly easy to paint. I was very sloppy and moved quickly, but found it easy to zip through them. My painting process was to keep things as simple as possible. I started with a black base and then hit them once with each color. No highlights, washes, etc. Just base coat. I was able to do 20 bases in 2 hours nightly with ease.
I really want to stress: I was sloppy. There were a lot of mistakes. I can’t see ANY of this from one foot or farther away. In aggregate, they look great. I can recommend 6mm painting for an easy project.
They’re based 2 strips to each 30x20mm MDF base. Four make up a unit for LaSalle or Blücher (on a sabot base).
Unfortunately, they’ve been interrupted by my sudden desire to paint science fiction, but I’ll hopefully swing back around once I get the Grimdark out of my system.
