Next weekend I intend to do a display game of Chain of Command at the weekly meet up that Victory Gamers hosts. Most players in the club play mainline Games Workshop games. I’d dare say our little historical contingent is one of the only non-GW game sets played regularly. Even then, it’s only by a handful of players compared to the 50+ GW players.

I’ve decided that since this is our first time playing COC at a meet up, I want to really sell the game. Beautiful table, fully painted armies, the whole nine yards. To that end, I spent around 6 hours yesterday airbrushing various terrain pieces. Most of what’s featured below is old pieces I weathered and touched up. I had previously painted them by hand and lacked much in the way of weathering.

The church, mansion, and Wild West buildings (unrelated) are brand new painted projects. I think I’ve got what I need to make a table that will have the 40k players feeling a little envious.

Shot below.

In retrospect, I didn’t take as many shots as I thought. I reweathered a total of nine buildings. I painted four new buildings.

Also, just because I did it yesterday, I painted three more cowboys. Here’s a few shots:
