I have been working on more ruins for Chain of Command and actually getting a game in weekly so far this month. I’ve managed to recruit a few new players and I see a lot more Chain of Command coming in 2021.

I’ve been printing buildings from WOWBuildings Kickstarter. I bought their Saving Private Ryan set and I’ve been printing like a mad man. Fun part about ruins is when they print poorly, they still work!

After they print, I add debris and rubble by throwing basing sand, rocks, and bits of broken up popsicle sticks inside them. I paint with an airbrush and highlight a few bits with a brush. Overall, I can knock out five buildings in an evening painting this way. It’s very rewarding.

After I wrap up this project, I’m going to make a drastic shift toward a different setting. I am writing a set of Wild West rules and I plan to play test them soon. I’ve got some minis on order and some terrain planned. Look forward to it in March. I’m very excited.
